Masirah Marine Expands Beyond Oman with New Marine Works Contract in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Masirah Marine is proud to announce a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey: our first operational footprint outside Oman, marking the start of marine works on the Ras Mohaisen Independent Water Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Since the first week of August, our teams have been mobilised on site, appointed as sub-contractor for marine works to Larsen & Toubro Limited – Lantania Aguas Desalination JV, the EPC contractor delivering this strategic desalination project. The project itself is being developed on behalf of Ras Mohaisen First Water Desalination Company, with Sustainable Water Power Consultants serving as Owner’s Engineer.
This appointment reflects the trust regional EPC contractors and developers continue to place in Masirah Marine’s marine construction and diving expertise — capabilities built over years of delivering complex marine works across Oman, now extending into new markets.
Expanding into Saudi Arabia is more than a new project for us — it is the opening of a new chapter. It reflects our ambition to grow beyond our home market and bring the same standards of safety, technical capability, and reliability that our clients in Oman have come to expect, to new geographies across the region.
We look forward to sharing more updates as work on the Ras Mohaisen Independent Water Project progresses, and to building on this milestone as Masirah Marine continues its regional growth.
