Founded in Muscat
Masirah International Technical and Marine Services LLC is established in October 2000 by founder Jonathan C. Turner. Registered in the Sultanate of Oman, the company is built on a foundation of hands-on marine construction and commercial diving expertise, with a clear vision to become the leading marine services company in the region.
Building a Reputation Across Oman
Through more than a decade of focused growth, Masirah International builds a strong and diverse track record — delivering harbour construction, quay wall installation, seawater intake pipelines, and commercial diving services for major clients across Oman and the UAE. Projects spanning from Port Rashid in Dubai to Salalah IWPP and Barka establish the company as a trusted name in Gulf marine works.
A Strengthened Foundation
A restructuring of the company's ownership brings renewed focus and increased capacity. Masirah International continues to grow from strength to strength — expanding its capabilities across marine construction, diving, plant hire, and survey works, and winning major contracts including pipeline works at Ghubra III IWP where the company goes on to achieve over one million safe man hours.
Growth, Certification & New Capabilities
Masirah International continues to grow its project portfolio and operational capability across Oman and the wider Gulf. The company attains Bureau Veritas ISO certification across quality, health & safety, and environmental management — ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 — and expands into new service areas including ROV operations, marine geotechnical investigations, and hydrographic surveys. A well-earned reputation for safe, reliable delivery is firmly established.

Masirah International welcomes Chady Assaf as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing a wealth of experience and exceptional leadership to drive the company's next phase of growth and innovation. Alongside this appointment, founder Jonathan Turner takes on the roles of Chairman and Chief Operating Officer — ensuring the company's founding expertise and values remain central to its future direction.
